Team
The Royal Distibuting Superbike team was created when rider Michael Leon and Royal Distributing teamed up at the start of 2009 to compete in the 2009 RACE Superseries. Well known for thier popular mail order catalogue, Royal Distributing also has four superstores located in Guelph, Innisfil, Whitby and Sudbury. For 3 three seasons the team campaigned a Ducati 1198S tuned by Guy Martin of MBP. In 2012, Michael won the RACE Superbike Championship after a switch to riding a Honda CBR600RR, Michael won the 2012 RACE Pro Superbike Championship. The team then began a successful run on the MV Augusta 675 F3, scoring the first Canadian Regional win and first Canadian National podium for the historic brand. Presently the team is racing a BMW S1000RR Superbike. Michael has finished the 2016 season ranked 4th in CSBK Pro Superbike, and won the RACE Pro Superbike and Open Sprint Championships.
