It was a fantastic finale for Royal Distributing / MBP rider Michael Leon at Round 6 of the RACE Superseries, held September 24-26 at Shannonville Motorsport Park, the final race of the season.  Michael won both the Liquid Cooled Thunder and the Heavyweight Thunder Races.  The victory in Heavy weight secured the Championship by 22 points over rival Jim Proulx, who was forced to compete with an injured shoulder.  Michael had already secured the Thunder Championship at the previous round.

Michael was featured on the cover of the Round 6 RACE Superseries program.  Many thanks to the RACE staff!  http://www.shannonville.com/pdf/program.pdf
